About dr. shirley

Dr. Shirley Wang, MD is a licensed medical doctor in California specializing in functional and integrative medicine.  Dr. Shirley is a skilled, compassionate physician helping patients restore function by addressing root causes.  As a trusted caregiver, she integrates modalities to focus on overall wellbeing.

Patients seek Dr. Shirley's expertise to address the following: depression, anxiety, stress, fatigue, gut issues, poor immune system, and overall wellness.

She attended UCLA, and earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's in education.  She taught third grade before attending USC for medical school.  She then studied internal medicine at St. Mary Medical Center, Long Beach and neurology at Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia.

A provider of soul-centered wellness, Dr. Shirley combines conventional medicine and alternative care to optimize wellbeing.  She carefully evaluates each patient prior to treatment to customaize care so as to provide the broadest array of options when it comes to proactively managing wholeness and wellness.
